Discover NYC's Vibrant Bear Scene: More Than Just a Nightclub

New York City's gay nightlife offers a kaleidoscope of experiences, and for those seeking a welcoming space with a focus on body positivity and diverse entertainment, Soaked stands out.

What is Soaked?

Soaked is more than just a party; it's a celebration of body positivity, featuring fantastic music, captivating drag performances, and energetic go-go dancers.

The night culminates in a much-anticipated wet underwear contest, where everyone is encouraged to participate, with the winner earning a chance to become a go-go dancer at the next event and automatically entering the Mr. Soaked competition.

The Vision Behind Soaked

Founded by Matty B and J.

Rios, Soaked emerged from a desire to inject fresh energy into NYC's nightlife. Matty B, also involved in veteran advocacy, recognized a need for a party that offered something different from the prevalent scene. J. Rios, with over 20 years in the club industry, aimed to recapture the magic of past nightlife eras while creating something entirely new, drawing inspiration from his experiences as a "club kid" and his extensive knowledge of the scene.

Their shared vision was to "bring back something old with a new twist" and reinvent a sometimes-stagnant scene.

The result is Soaked, a party designed to give "everyday people" the chance to be part of the NYC nightlife, even if they never imagined themselves as performers on stage.

Who Can Attend Soaked?

Soaked is proudly a body positivity party, welcoming individuals from all walks of life.

The organizers believe that everyone deserves a chance to shine, making it an inclusive space for those looking to experience the vibrant energy of NYC's LGBTQ+ scene.
